Crochet granny Cowl

Ignore the editing done by my sis. :P
Hey guys, I know I have been away for too long but here's an awesome pattern for all of you guys to get ready for fall (winter here in Kuwait).

This cowl is lightweight and easy to make. I used light colors to prevent focusing on the neck excessively but you could use darker colors if you want. Make it as long as you want. Easy, quick and lightweight project just for you guys!

Pore Minimizer!

Maintaining clean, healthy skin pores is important for maintaining healthy (and healthy looking) skin. Dirt and oil on your face collect around your pores like leaves and debris collect around a storm drain. When those pores get clogged, it creates a pile-up of oil and dead skin cells in the follicle. Soon, bacteria make their way to the blockage, and the growth in bacteria causes inflammation. Clogged pores left untreated can lead to blackheads and acne, so it's important to clean them often.

Anti-Wrinkle Lotion

We all get wrinkles as we get older. They're a normal part of aging.I haven't got them yet but I would love to share this easy home made recipe who would want to get rid of your wrinkles in a much safer and natural way then using chemicals!
With age, skin cells divide more slowly, and the skin's inner layer, called the dermis, begins to thin. That starts to undo skin's stretchiness and structure.

Ribbon and Button Bookmark! ♥

Hey everyone!
So heres another DIY after a long time!- Ribbon and button Bookmarks !♥
I just love to read books so therefore I love bookmarks .
But I have never liked the ones in the market with haard paper backs which usually drop out of the book and you lose your page.
So I usually prefer to make my own bookmarks and this is one of my favourites!

What you will need:
1. Ribbons
2. Buttons
3. Sewing needle and thread
4. Glue gun for no sew method
5. scissors
6. A fat book
7.
Rubber
Band

Method:
1. On one side of your ribbon , place the rubber band.

Fold the side up and glue it down or sew it

2. Take the last page of your book and place the ribbon wrong side up on it with the rubber band corner up and close the book.
3.
Place the other side of the ribbon under the rubber band and cut it so that there is some extra ribbon under the rubber band approximately 1 inch extra.

4. Fold the other corner in half and cut in a V-Shape.
Apply some clear nail polish to avoid fraying.

5. Sew or glue a button to this end .
There you are done now!
Embellish your bookmark with more ribbons, buttons, sequins or anything you like!

But in the end I thought of this- salt dough monogrammed tags! And you know what other worked very well but as usual "imperfect"! Anyways here's how to do it who knows you might turn up with something much better than me!

Heights of Imperfection DIY Heart Pincushion!

After reading the title of the post you might be thinking why I named it HEIGHTS OF IMPERFECTION......... well I am a total Imperfectionist!
I try to make something and it turns out to  be something else :P But still I like to share My journey of Imperfection cause I am sure that there are many like me and anyways No one Is PERFECT.

Anyways you'll  soon find out why i call it by this name....

Supplies:
Felt
Super glue
Thread
Needle
Poly fill or any fav fill

Method:

1.Cut out two hearts from your favorite felt.I used grey and purple
2.On the grey side: cut one more smaller felt heart of the opposite color (purple)

3.Super glue it so that it stays in place.

4.Cut one more smaller heart of grey and attach it.(optional)
5.Next blanket stitch both the pieces together.and leave just a bit of it to put the filling. (here is the link for blanket stitch)

6.Stuff with poly fill or your favorite stuffing.

And now you are done!

Did the super glue idea work out for you?
Any better suggestions?
