Heights of Imperfection DIY Heart Pincushion!

After reading the title of the post you might be thinking why I named it HEIGHTS OF IMPERFECTION......... well I am a total Imperfectionist!
I try to make something and it turns out to  be something else :P But still I like to share My journey of Imperfection cause I am sure that there are many like me and anyways No one Is PERFECT.

Anyways you'll  soon find out why i call it by this name....

Supplies:
Felt
Super glue
Thread
Needle
Poly fill or any fav fill

Method:

1.Cut out two hearts from your favorite felt.I used grey and purple
2.On the grey side: cut one more smaller felt heart of the opposite color (purple)

3.Super glue it so that it stays in place.

4.Cut one more smaller heart of grey and attach it.(optional)
5.Next blanket stitch both the pieces together.and leave just a bit of it to put the filling. (here is the link for blanket stitch)

6.Stuff with poly fill or your favorite stuffing.

And now you are done!

Did the super glue idea work out for you?
Any better suggestions?

  1. Just dropping by to say thanks for registering at Teenage Blogger Central! I applaud your use of super-glue, by the way. I don't think I've ever finished a project without ending up with two fingers stuck together...
